RUBY – Rise Up Be Yourself
RUBY “Rise Up Be Yourself” is a physical fitness program run at the Roma PCYC for women that have been or are currently affected by Domestic VIolence. The class is run every Wednesday from 10:00am – 11:00am by one of our qualified fitness instructors and the class is FREE for participants. We encourage participants to bring a support person with them especially the first visit and children are also welcome.
Domestic Violence Action Centre
The Domestic Violence Action Centre (DVAC) is dedicated to working towards the elimination of all forms of violence against women and children through the provision of services. DVAC provides a range of services ranging from crisis support, counselling, group work, court support and educational activities to the community of Ipswich and the regional communities of Gatton, Laidley, Esk, Toogoolawah, Lowood, Boonah, Goodna and Toowoomba.
Far West Indigenous Family Violence Service
Far West Indigenous Family Violence Service is a service funded by the Department of Communities to assist individuals and families including children who are affected by domestic and family violence. (FWIFVS) is managed by Cunnamulla Aboriginal Corporation for Health. This service provides advice, support and referrals to the appropriate service providers, for victims and witnesses of domestic and family violence. Supporting clients to obtain safe accommodation and coordinating community education.
Maruma-Li Mari Outreach Service
A community legal justice service, advisory and referral centre for victims of family violence providing practical assistance and emotional support to people seeking to deal with the effects of family violence.

Safer Families Support Service
Safer Families Support Service provides Domestic Violence support in the Charleville, St George, Cunnamulla and Roma areas.
The Men’s Stopping Violence domestic violence behaviour change Program provides an opportunity for men to take responsibility for their use of violence and/or abuse in relationships with partners/ex partners and develop and maintain respectful attitudes and behaviours within that context.

South West Brisbane Community Legal Centre Inc.
The Community Legal Centre provides free legal advice and assistance in many areas of law including domestic violence, family law, child protection, civil matters, consumer, credit and debt, motor vehicle accident property damage, wills and enduring powers of attorney. Youth criminal law and Advocacy specialist service and Child Protection Duty Lawyer service at Beenleigh Magistrates Court each Thursday.
Country and Remote Counselling Services
Provision of therapeutic counselling/ indigenous psychotherapy, psycho education for individuals and groups who have been affected by domestic and family violence. Services include culturally appropriate education and training to limit self harm attributed to excessive alcohol and other drugs consumption.

Young & Associates Family Lawyers
We offer free initial telephone consultations for client’s with domestic violence issues. We are a Legal Aid Preferred Supplier and are able to assist clients with the compltion and submission of legal aid forms. We are able to represent client’s in court to obtain a protection order.
