UnitingCare Community

UnitingCare Community is a community service organisation that operates in the key areas of counselling and crisis support; child and family care and training. In Bundaberg, we offer support to separated or separating families, indigenous families, and individuals requiring general counselling support. We also provide specific care in the key areas of domestic violence, financial hardship and early intervention. Training and workshops are available all year round.

Edon Place

 

EDON Place Women’s Domestic Violence Service provides crisis accommodation and support to women and children escaping/living with domestic violence as well as referrals to other agencies. Assistance with Domestic Violence Protection Order applications and Court support is provided as well as a rural outreach program. Two 12 week personal development groups are run each year, each in two 6 week blocks.

Domestic Violence Service of Central Queensland

Centacare’s Domestic Violence Service of Central Queensland (DVSOCQ) program supports everyone affected by domestic and family violence through a range of confidential support services and educational programs in a safe environment.

Sites located at Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Mackay and Emerald, with an Outreach site in Blackwater.  Family Relationship Centres located at Rockhampton and Mackay.
